HI, my name is Philip A. Wells,
Welcome to my web page. I started these pages to show and sell my painting of Pets Portraits, Birds, Sea turtle, Dolphins and sunsets.
When I began painting of my style is one of a natural primitive artist ripe with the intuitive love of color and composition similar in the style of the folk arts of early New England seascape painters. Then my themes generally encompass local sea and scenery of the waterways and beaches of the Brevard county in Florida
Then I started painting Dolphins, sea turtles, birds and Pets portraits My love of painting is something in which I can always express himself and my great love of the sea and natural surroundings. My balance of both local scenery and Floridian atmosphere create a peaceful blending of old Florida and its natural surrounding beauty.
I have spent most of his life on the water, I excel in my love for painting and his art is rich in an abiding appreciation for the sea it’s many moods. In my own words, Philip states, “I like to convey a place for someone to relax and enjoy themselves through a sense of peace and tranquility that comes from being near the water.”
